Earl D. Linn, June 25, 1916 - Oct. 9, 1992, Earl D. LINN, 76, of 1519 Madison St., (formerly of Tiosa), died at 3:10 p.m. Friday at Woodlawn Hospital, where he had been a patient for five days. He had been ill for two years. He was born near Warsaw to John and Mona DUNNUCK LINN. He moved from Nappanee to this area 50 years ago. On June 25, 1937 in Columbia City he married Nedra G. DIESCH, who survives. He retired in 1981 from the maintenance department at Rochester High School. He was a member of the Richland Center United Methodist Church and I.O.O.F. Lodge. Surviving with his wife are two daughters, Mrs. Lon (Shirley) SOUTHERLAND, Nashville, Tenn., and Mrs. Robert (Janice) ROCKHILL, Etna Green; a granddaughter, Wendy ROCKHILL, Etna Green; two grandsons, Larry and Landon SOUTHERLAND, Nashville; three sisters, Mrs. "Chink" (Helen) WHITMAN, Edwardsburg, Mich.; Mrs..Douglas (Beatrice) TOBIAS, Nappanee, and Mrs. Marvin (June) HUFFMAN, Atwood, and a brother, John LINN, Elkhart. Preceding in death were two sisters, Cleo HARTMAN and Dora MILLER, and a brother, Richard [LINN]. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Foster & Good Funeral Home, Rochester, and burial will be in the Richland Center I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday and after 9 a.m. Monday. The Richland Center [I.O.O.F. Lodge] will conduct memorials services at 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
