David Lawson Arwood, 82, a 50-year resident of Signal Mountain, TN departed this life Tuesday, November 22, 2011.

David was born and raised in North Chattanooga before moving to Signal Mountain.

He was the owner of Dave Arwood's Repair Service.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth; and daughter, Mary Ann Corbitt.

Survivors include daughters, Dorothy (Bryan) Hamilton, Signal Mountain, TN, Nellie (Robert) Lucas, Signal Mountain, TN, Margaret (Gary) Hamilton, Chattanooga, TN; son, Joel Arwood, Valley Head, AL; sister, Mary Jo Stolz, Chattanooga, TN; 11 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace, Chattanooga, TN.

Interment will follow in Chattanooga Memorial Park.

Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Friday at Lane Funeral Home.
