Frank J. Rupinski of Meyers Street, Edwardsville, died Tuesday at his home. Born in Edwardsville, he was the son of the late Frank and Catherine Kmieciak Rupinski. He was formerly employed by Luzerne County in the Tax Claims Office, and previously by the Kay Wholesale Drug Co. He was a member of St. Hedwig's Church, Kingston, and its Holy Name Society; Teamsters Local 401. He was also active in Edwardsville politics, and the Blue and Gold Father's Club of Central Catholic, now Bishop O'Reilly High School. He did volunteer work at the John Heinz Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine, Wilkes-Barre. He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Frances Antinnes; a daughter, Shirley Parsons; a brother, Stanley. His son, Lt. Bernard F. Rupinski, has been listed as Missing In Action since the Vietnam conflict. Surviving are a daughter, Alice Naylis, Edwardsville; a brother, Joseph, Sunbury; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
