Janet Lee Forbis-Hanover, 65, of Pekin died at 11:05 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2011, at Pekin Hospital.

Born October 1, 1946 in Pekin to William A. and Betty J. (Walker) O'Donnell, she married Donald Forbis in May of 1969. He died in 1985 in Danville. She later married William M. Hanover in December 13, 1996 in Pekin. He died July 18, 2006 in Danville.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Russell O'Donnell.

Janet worked as a secretary for 6 years at Carpenters Local #644 in Pekin and later was a pizza maker for Butch's Pizza in Morton for 10 years.

She was a member of Saint Joseph Catholic Church and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #1869 Ladies Auxiliary, both in Pekin. She was a former member of Sweet Adelines.

Janet enjoyed karaoke, playing pool, and riding motorcycles.
