Jimmy went to Llewellyn Grade School and Cleveland High School and he was a Boy Scout. He went to Moreland Presbyterian Church when he was a boy and delivered newspapers.

It was very difficult for him when he lost his first born Nathan in a fire in Arizona, things were not quite the same for him after that. All though he did have a second son Casey, and he was a blessing for Jimmy and his wife Susan.

My brother Jimmy loved-loved cars. Working on cars old or new, fast or slow. He used to race them around the streets of Portland in the good old days when you could get away with it. One time when he was a teenager he took Grandpa McGregor's Desoto without asking, went around the block and came back with someone's cyclone fence dragging behind. He was a character-class clown great sense of humor and a fun brother.
He loved to drink and party and I miss him.
