Clyde E. Long Sr. passed way in the Good Samaritan Hospital, Vincennes, Indiana, at the age of 75.

He was the son of Wilson Alfred and Grace Mildred (Carl) Long.

He married Ines Wells and she preceded him in death on January 2, 1964. He then married Mary Helms and she preceded him in death on October 12, 1988.

He had a son, Clyde E. Long, Jr. (who died January 2, 1964); two daughters, Veta Funderburk and Nancy Patrick; and four grandchildren

He was a World War II United States Army veteran.
