"Emma Taylor Called
The funeral of Miss Emma Taylor is to be held at the Christian church this afternoon at 2:30 with Rev. Rose Williams of Aurora conducting the services. Burial is to be made in Giltner cemetery. Miss Taylor had been in poor health for the last two years, death following the third of a series of severe strokes the last of which came early Tuesday morning. Death came at the age of 58 years, 4 months and 27 days. The following is the obituary:
Martha Emmeline Taylor was born January 17, 1874, in a log cabin half way between Wilber and De Witt, Saline county. The family moved to Wilber and resided there until 1911 when they moved to Giltner where the home has since been. Both parents suceeded her in death, the mother dying in 1919 and the father in 1920, and three brothers died in infancy. Two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Magnusson, Wilber, Nebraska, and Mrs. Lulu Collicott, Midwest, Wyoming, also two nieces, Mrs. Joseph Zwonecek and Miss Hallie Collicott survive her.
She became a member of the United Brethern church when a very young girl and renewed her pledge to her Savior in 1899 by becoming a member of the Church of Christ."

Martha's grave is unmarked.
