Donna was the daughter of Charles "Chung" & Marcella (Allen) Sloan. She attended Rockville Elementary School & then Central School. She then was a good student, cheerleader and very active in sports at Valley High School, Lonaconing, Md.
She was my best friend from 4th grade on. She was a passenger in a car accident, in Knapp's Meadow outside of Lonaconing and died at Miner's Hospital, Frostburg, Md. the night of the accident. Her home was just west down the road from the accident site and she was buried on Christmas Day, right up the hill from where she was killed.
