Adrian S. Aguado, 63, Lake Sherwood, passed away Thursday, May 27, 2010.

He was born Sept. 1, 1946, in St. Louis, the son of Adrian Aguado and wife Olga, nee Moser.

Mr. Aguado received his education in the St. Louis schools and graduated from Cleveland High School. He served his country in the U.S. Army from May 1975 to June 1976.

On Oct. 29, 1977, he was united in marriage to Marguerite Teipel in St. Louis.

Mr. Aguado worked as a painter at McDonnell Douglas and retired in 2001. He was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, New Melle, the NRA and a longtime member of the Radio Controlled Airplane Club of St. Louis. He loved golf and his cars.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Christopher Steven Aguado; his father-in-law, Bernard Teipel; and his brothers-in-law, Jack Letter and Dave Hutson.

Mr. Aguado is survived by his wife, Marguerite Aguado, Lake Sherwood; one daughter, Christine Carol Clements and husband Brian, Waterloo, Ill; two grandchildren, Brian Christopher and Brittany Nicole Clements; three brothers, Tomas Aguado, Terry Aguado and wife Nancy and Arther Aguado and wife Rhonda; three sisters, Adrienne Collins and husband Roger, Anita Letter and Trini Hutson; his mother- in-law, Veronica Teipel; nieces; nephews; cousins; brothers-in-law; other relatives and many friends.

A memorial Mass was celebrated Wednesday, June 2, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, New Melle.

Donations in memory of Mr. Aguado may be made to the American Heart Association or the Diabetes Association.

The Aguado family was served by Oltmann Funeral Home, Washington.
