Graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the West Side District Cemetery for Troy Allen Jenkins, 29, of 414 South 10th Street. Mr. Jenkins was born in Taft On January 11, 1954 and died at his home on Saturday. He lived all of his life in Taft and was a 1972 graduate of Taft Union High School. He was a well puller and was last employed by American Oil Well Service in Bakersfield. He was a member of the Black Powder Muzzle Loading Association of Ventura. Mr. Jenkins is survived by his wife, Brenda Kay Jenkins of Taft; his son, Richard Allen Jenkins of Taft; his parents, Bill and Darlene Jenkins of Taft; his brother, Floyd Jenkins of Bakersfield; his maternal grandparents, Clyde and Myrtle Dake of Taft and his paternal grand father, Floyd Jenkins of Texas. Rev. Bill Dunahoo, pastor of the New Hope Temple, will officiate at the services. Friends may call at the Erickson & Brown Funeral Home today until 8:30 p.m. to pay their respects.
