Aido G. Guelfi Sr., age 81, a resident of Albuquerque since 1946, passed away on Saturday, January 29, 2005. Aido was born in Italy on June 1, 1923. Aido was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. Aido was also a member of the Elks Club, the Lions Club, and the Italian American Society. Aido is survived by his daughter, Angela Chiado and her husband, John and his son, Aido G. Guelfi Jr. and his wife, Lee, four grandchildren, Geneva, Tony, Mia and Michaelangelo and a niece, Gina, all of Albuquerque. Aido was preceded in death by his wife, Emily and his brother, Alfi. A Memorial Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, February 2, 2005 at 7:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 4020 Lomas Blvd. NE. A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, February 3, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. Interment will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 5800 Lomas Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110.
