Cager Neal Gentry, 2, of Frisco passed away Sept. 17, 2011. He fought a short battle with leukemia and infection at Children's Medical Center in Dallas.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Coker-Mathews Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Butch Bruton officiating. Interment will follow at Red Lick Cemetery near Hooks at 4 p.m.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
He was born June 10, 2009, in Frisco to Bryan and Cynthia Green Gentry. Cager was a curious, smart, helpful and caring child who embraced life and was loved by everyone who knew him.
He is survived by his parents, Bryan and Cynthia Gentry and sister Cali Rose of Frisco; grandparents Chris and Sheila Green, Tommy and Sue Prange, and Whit and Becky Gentry; great-grandmothers Vera Green and Wanda Sherman; uncles and aunts Jeff Green, Sam Gentry, Jennifer and Monty Bruton, Travis and Tricia Osteen, Sean and Fawn Adams and Paul Prange; great-aunts and great-uncles Kathy and Mike Allen, Jeanne and Lynn Reynolds, Angie and James Bowdoin, and Robert and John Sherman; cousins Paden, Kennedy and Bayleigh Bruton, Ashley Reynolds, Ashley, Cooper and Elerby Thompson, Tyler and Levi Osteen, Amanda Lavy, Tyler Bowdoin, and Alexis, Baron, Anna and Chance Sherman.
