MRS EMMA LEONA MOCK DIES MERCY HOSPITAL
Mrs. Emma Leona Mock, 28, wife of Chester Mock, residing at 1805 South K Street, died at Mercy Hospital at 12 o'clock Sunday night of complications following childbirth.
She was one of seven children born to Mr. and Mrs. John Roach. She was married to Chester Mock January 24, 1920.
Mrs. Mock was a member of the Frankton M. E. church. She was an affectionate mother and wife. She was one of the most highly esteemed women of the city and enjoyed a side circle of friends.
Beside the husband she leaves a daughter, Harriet Louise, age 4 and a son, Meredith Edsell, one-day old; three sisters, Mrs. Annita Brattain and Mrs. Everett Buler, both of near Elwood, and Mrs. Lloyd Jones of Flint, Michigan; two half-sisters, Mrs. J. H. Rigor of Elwood, and Mrs. John Barber of Pataskia, Ohio, and two brothers, Edward Roach of Anderson and Fred Roach of Frankton.
The body was removed to the Copher and Fesler funeral home where it was prepared for burial. This afternoon it was removed to the family home.
Funeral services will be conducted at the First M. E. church at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon by Rev. Polly Couch-Bowman. Burial will be made in the City cemetery.
