Jenks Haiden Britt, 88, Princeton, KY, died Sunday, November 27, 2011, at his residence. Born March 5, 1923 in Barren County, he was a son of the late Grover and Alma Button Britt. He was a 1940 graduate of Glasgow High School, a veteran of WWII, a retired farmer, and co-owner and operator of Britt Frame Shop.

He is survived by his wife, Jeanette White Britt; two sons, Jenks S. Britt and his wife, Kathy, of Bowling Green, KY and Jack H. Britt and his wife, Frances, of Etowah, NC; one daughter, Suzanne Britt of Glasgow, KY; one step-son, Rick Lewis of Princeton, KY; three step-daughters, Debbie French of Tulsa, OK, Janie Tomek of Princeton, KY, and Laura Klubert of Houston, TX; four grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Jack Britt.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Morgan's Funeral Home in Princeton. Memorial Graveside Service will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery under the direction of the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home.
