Mary Frances McBride, 93, of Westfield, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2011 at Maple Park Village in Westfield. She was born on February 27, 1918 to Roman and Helena (Gemmer) Schenkel in Bippus, Indiana.
Mary was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Tipton; and the Senior Citizens Organization of Noblesville.
She is survived by a daughter, Mary (Scott) Knighton of Noblesville, IN; sons, Gerry (Sandra) McBride of Rhome, TX & Harold McBride of Hendersonville, TN; sister, Wanda Mickley of Warren, IN; 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ira McBride; daughter, Sabra Barrett; son, Emil J. McBride; granddaughter, Rachel Ward; and seven brothers and sisters.
Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, December 1, 2011 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville, with visitation beginning at 12:00 noon immediately prior to the service. Rev. Dr. Linda Philabaun will officiate. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis.
