CULLMAN — Rev. Autry Conn

Funeral services for Rev. Autry Conn, 77, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2011, at Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel, Dr. Edwin Hayes and Rev. Billy Wooten officiating, with interment in Cullman City Cemetery.

Moss-Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Rev. Conn passed away Sunday, Nov. 27, at Brookwood Medical Center. He was born June 17, 1934, in Cullman to Onis Almond and Rosa Lee Dover Conn. He was a Baptist minister for over 40 years, beginning full time in 1972 and retiring from Bethsadia Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Rebecca Jo Jones; a sister, Mildred Maner; and a brother-in-law, Frank Brown.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy Woods Conn; a son, Robin Autry (Cindy) Conn of Huntsville; two sisters, Claire Hayden (Barney) Wood and Betty Brown, both of Cullman; a brother, Johnny (Evelyn) Conn of Cullman; four grandchildren, Ashley (Jason) Leibenspurger, April (Eric) Cochran, Brandon Jones and Alex Conn; two great-grandchildren, Jaxon Leibenspurger and Connor Cochran.

Visitation was from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
