M. Louise Abbott, 82, of Winamac, IN, passed away at 12:44 AM Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN.
She was born December 4, 1928, in Royal Center, IN, to Simon and Anna Link Weaver. Louise was married to Robert G. "Bob" Abbott on June 24, 1948 in Pulaski, IN. Bob died September 21, 1995.
Louise was a lifetime resident of Pulaski County.
Louise was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pulaski and Women of the Moose #1684 in Rochester, IN. She was also a member of the National League of Postmasters. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and was a lifetime member of the Pulaski Memorial Hospital Auxillary. Louise was a member of the Friends of Pleasant View Rest Home and the Bunco Club.
She worked many years as a sales clerk at Miller's Department Store in Winamac. She also had worked at the Star City Post Office.
