Mrs. Nettie Curry, age 80, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Gaylord Majors of Bolivar Friday, May 10th. She was the widow of James Edward Curry, a farmer, who died in 1936.
She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Funeral services were 10 o'clock Saturday morning at the Bolivar Church of Christ with Brother O.D. Johns officiating. Burial was in Bolivar Memorial Cemetery.
Other than her daughter she leaves a son, Will Curry of Jackson; six brothers, Bill Weeks, Dave Weeks, John Weeks, and Doss Weeks all of Corinth, Mississippi, Cord Weeks of Ramer, Tennessee and Fate Weeks of Booneville, Mississippi; two sisters, Mrs. Winnie Denton of Memphis, Tennessee Mrs State Puckett of St. Louis, Missouri; and two grand children and three great-grand-children.
