He is preceded in death by his father, Dewey Dixon Brown. Survived by his wife of 57 years Hazel D. Brown; mother, Myrtle Brown; daughters, Judy Boehm (Rick) and Donna Ford (Ken); 5 grandchildren, Stacy Boland, Trisha Boehm, Ken Ford, Jr., Phillip Ford and Elliott Boehm; 5 great grandchildren; and 8 siblings. Services will be conducted 10 a.m. Friday, July 11, 2008 in Woodlawn-Roesch-Patterson's Dignity Hall. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to service time on Friday at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patterson funeral Home, 660 Thompson Lane, Nashville, Tennessee 37201, (615) 383-4754. A Dignity Memorial Provider.
