Mrs. Ida M. Leavel, 67 years old, died last night at her home, 3332 South Benton. Mrs. Leavel, an officer in both the D.A.R. and the Daughters of 1812, was born in Kansas City. She was the daughter of Willard E. Winner, a pioneer in Kansas City industrial development.
She leaves her husband, Christopher B. Leavel of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Robert O. Simpson, Ames, Ia.; a son, W. H. Leavel, also of the home; two sisters, Mrs. C.W. Chandler of Kansas City, and Mrs. Reba Hughes, New Orleans, and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Friday at the Stine & McClure chapel, 3235 Gillham plaza.
