Jackie Lynn Carter, age 50 of Jasper, Arkansas died Thursday, November 24, 2011 at his home.

He was born March 10, 1961 in Springdale, Arkansas the son of Jack and Beatrice (Ramsey) Carter.

He had lived most of his life in Newton County and had worked as a dozer operator. He loved hunting, fishing and taking care of his pets, especially his Chihuahua, Amos.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Carter and grandparents, John and Ada Carter and Connie and Nancy Lee Ramsey.

Survivors are his mother, Beatrice Carter of Jasper, AR; two sisters, Debbie Ball and husband, Randy of Winter Springs, FL and Patsy Villines and husband, Jackie of Jasper, AR; four step-children, Adam, Alex, Anna and Alena; one nephew, Jonathan Ball of Chattanooga, TN; two nieces, Lorrie Forest and husband, Colby of Harrison, AR and Jaimie Villines of Jasper, AR and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, December 1, 2011 at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Jasper with Leslie Murphy and James Compton officiating. Burial will follow in the Snow Cemetery at Wayton.

No visitation.

Pallbearers will be Everett Kellogg, Jr., Ricky Russell, Kirby Carlton, Joey Brasel, Gary Gordon and Randy Keef.
