Juanita Mercer Runyon 78 of Glasgow died Monday night at her home. The Barren County native was the daughter of the late James Lee Mercer and Lou Vina Monroe Mercer and wife of the late Noah Clifton Runyon. She was a former employee of the Mallory Company and attended White Chapel Church.
She is survived by 3 sons George (Pearlene) Runyon, Jim (Robin) Runyon and Mark (Candy) Runyon all of Glasgow; 2 daughters Shirley Hardin and Stephanie (Jerry) McClellan both of Glasgow; 20 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 2 sons Robert Daniel and Roger Dale Runyon; 3 daughters Wanda Christine , Laurie Diane Runyon and Alma Lou Runyon; 2 grandsons James Cloyd Johnson and Gregory Richard Cross, a great-granddaughter Whitney Kaye Johnson and 5 brothers Samuel, Richard, James Clifton, Elmer Butch and Earl Mercer.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, December 1, 2011 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Bristletown Cemetery.
