Liberty—- Nellie Ball Welborn, of 316 Carolina Drive, died Monday. She was a retired housemother for the University of Georgia.
She was predeceased by her husband, L Carl Welborn and son, Lee Hugh Welborn.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs Edward P. Fowler of Satellite Beach Florida; sisters, Marie Bailley of Liberty and Oline Fink of Darlington; and a brother, Hugh Tolan Ball, Jr of Norfolk, VA.
Services will be at 11 am Thursday at Liberty First Baptist Church; burial in Westview Cemetery.
