Claude Hamilton, 68, a cattle buyer and rancher of Lamar Road, Hwy 82 East, was dead on arrival at McCuistion Hospital Thursday, after illness at home.

His funeral, Monday at 11:00 a.m. will be held here at Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home Chapel and burial made in Union Grove Cemetery.

He was born at Klondike, Delta County, September 24, 1903, son of Hiram Wesley Hamilton and Josephine Ward Hamilton.

He attended school at Blossom. He married Naomi McMullen June 23, 1928 at Quanah.

The Hamiltons lived at Quanah 18 years, moving to the San Joaquin Valley in California in 1946 and coming to Paris in 1965.

He leaves his wife, Naomi Hamilton; four children, 13 other descendants and a sister, of Santa Ana, CA.
