Anna Mae Assmann Clark, 65, of Columbus, Indiana passed away at 7:44 p.m. on Saturday, November 26, 2011 at Columbus Regional Hospital in Columbus, Indiana.
Anna was born on May 23, 1946 in Leslie County, Kentucky the daughter of Pleasant and Anna Louise Feltner Huff.

She married Richard Dale Clark on February 16, 1998, in Columbus, Indiana. He survives.

Anna owned and operated the Paris Crossing Market in Paris Crossing, Indiana for 15 years retiring in 1995; she previously worked for 4 years at Steak n Shake, Cummins Engine Company for 8 years both in Columbus, Indiana and Tobacco Road for 5 years in Ogilville, Indiana. She attended Wilson Chapel in North Vernon, Indiana. She enjoyed gardening and she loved dogs.

Survivors include her husband, Richard Dale Clark of Columbus, Indiana; three sons, Tony (Laura) Assmann of North Vernon, Indiana, Jim Assmann of Orlando, Florida and Ritchie Clark of Elizabethtown, Indiana; four daughters, Dantie (John) Davis of Paris Crossing, Indiana, Kathy Clark of Tamipco, Indiana, Penni Clark of Bedford, Indiana and Margie Clark of Vallonia, Indiana; one brother, P. Phil (Karen) Huff of Cartersville, Georgia; four sisters, Orleana (Bonny) Fleenor-Murphy and Paralee (Kenneth) Martin both of Wooster, Ohio, Marie (Ronnie) Allen of Hazard, Kentucky and Dorothy Little of Commiskey, Indiana; twenty-three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 1, 2011 at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Friends may call on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Thursday. Burial will be in the Coffee Creek Christian Cemetery in Paris Crossing, Indiana. Published in The Courier-Journal on November 30, 2011.
