Samuel Bamesberger Dead

Samuel Bamesberger, who lived at 527 South Commercial, died Sunday morning at 11:55 o'clock. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Roberts-Blue funeral home. The Rev. G. Carol Gilbert, pastor of the Calvary Evangelical United Brethren church, will conduct the services. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn cemetery.

Mr. Bamesberger was born Feb. 27, 1861, in Marshall, Ill., the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Bamesberger. He was a farmer and stockman and had been retired since 1904. He came to Kansas in 1869, and settled near Americus. He married Lydia Barthel on April 11, 1889, and they moved to Emporia in 1904. Mr. Bamesberger is survived by his wife of the home and two sons: Frank. A. Bamesberger, 1 Union, and Harry B. Bamesberger, of Kansas City, Mo.
