Santo was born in Gesso, Sicily. He married Antonia Giacobbe around 1874 in Gesso. He and Antonia had two daughters named Nunzia)before immigrating to the US. The first Nunzia died as an infant in Gesso. He immigrated 1879. She immigrated 1880. They had five more children here in the US; Mary, Jennie, Rosa, Katherine & Frank. Santo owned a large fruit farm on Main Road until his passing.
