This is my 2nd Great Grand Uncle. He was from Kiskiminetas, Armstrong Co, Pennsylvania. He enlisted 1 Jun 1861 and was first in the 40th Regiment, Company G, 11th Reserves, originally under Col. Thomas F Gallagher. After his 3 year enlistment was up, he re-enlisted as a veteran volunteer and was in the 190th Regiment, Co. C - which was made up originally from the 10th, 11th, 12th, & 13th Reserves. He was captured at Weldon Railroad on 19 Aug 1864 and sent to Belle Isle, outside of Richmond. In early Oct 1864 he was sent to Salisbury, where he died on 11 Dec 1864. He was never in Company K.

Bates' has him listed as being in the 190th, Co. I, but that is incorrect. John Fuller was a very common name and there are several that served in the Civil War, from Pennsylvania itself. (Find A Grave contributor kentuckywoman2 )
