County Attorney Dies of Wounds
CLEVELAND, Tenn. (AP) ---John C. Prince, county attorney of Polk County, died in a hospital today of a shotgun wound. He was about 65.
The hospital said that Prince was brought here Saturday for treatment after being found wounded in a bedroom of his home at Benton. The hospital listed the shooting as accidental. (However, on his death cert the doctor ruled it as a self-inflicted gunshot wound by a .12 gauge shotgun.)
