Charlie's mother died when he was about 2 years old. Although his father continued to live in Houston, Chickasaw County, Misssissippi, Charlie and his sibling lived with and were raised primarily by their Grandmother, Aunts and Uncles on the Ingram side of the family. Their father never remarried.
His siblings were:

Elizabeth Ann Woodall Stovall (1891-1961). Buried in Prospect Cemetery, Houston, Mississippi

William Martin/Morton "Mote" Woodall - (1893-1954).Buried in Wesley Chapel Cemetery, Houston, Mississippi.

Joseph Wilburn Hill Woodall - (1896-1933). Buried in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, El Paso, Texas
