Joseph Stockton is an Uncle to Richard Stockton "The Signer" of the Declaration of Independence. Richard "The Signers" father, John Stockton (1701-1758), and this Joseph Stockton (1697-1709), are brothers. Joseph & John are sons of Richard "The Builder" Stockton.

If my wife dies without a will, then her estate to go to my daughters Amey Stockton, Elizabeth Nicholson, Mary Anderson and Sarah Stockton. Executor: my wife and my son Daniel Stockton.
