Frank M. Bailey, 63
Man Dies On Job of Heart Attack
Frank Malan (sic) Bailey, 63, 943 W. 1020 N., Provo, died Friday evening while at work in the boiler room at Utah State Hospital of a sudden heart attack.
He was born July 22, 1902 in Ephraim, a son of Frank and Mary Christensen Bailey. He married Ava Bessey. They were later divorced. HE married Eva Boardman on April 25, 1956 in Heber.
Mr. Baily was employed as a railroad station engineer for 32 years with the Denver and Rio Grand Railroad. He was a member of the LDS Church, holding the office of elder at the time of his death.
He received his education in Ephraim schools and graduated from Ephriam High School.
For the past 11 years he had been employed at the Utah State Hospital. He had been living in Provo since 1953.
Surviving are his widow, Provo; two sons, Robert Bailey, Orem; Ray Bailey, Provo; one daughter, Mrs. Jack (Doris) Jensen, Provo; step-children, Mrs. Pete (Eleanora) Astor, San Diego, Calif.; Mrs. Richard (Betty) Castor, Japan; Dan Ross, Los Angeles, Calif.; James R. Burns, Orem; 13 grandchildren; three brothers, Fred, Ernest and Glen Bailey, all of Ephraim.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Berg Drawing Room CHapel with Bishop John H. Adams of the Provo 18th Ward officiating. Friends may call Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday prior to services. Interment will be in the Provo City Cemetery.
