Charles Francis Brown, born November 3, 1913 in Salisbury, Massachusetts, moved with his family to Fontana in 1955, passed away April 14, 2007 of natural causes at the age of 93. Charles, loved to tell everyone his name "Charlie Brown," worked as a carpenter and was a longtime member of Carpenters Local 944. He leaves behind his wife, Jean, a daughter, Jeani Brown Ashworth of Redlands, four sons, Charles F. Brown, Jr. of Northwood, New Hampshire, James, Michael, and Edward May or Oregon, Yucaipa and Fontana, respectively. He also leaves behind 14 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and two nephews, Bruce G. Brown of New Hampshire and Kenneth Brown, Jr. In lieu of flowers, please send donation to St. Jude Children's Cancer Research Cancer in memory of Charlie Brown. A private graveside service will be held at Montecito Mortuary on April 28, 2007 at 11. a.m.

Brown of Massachusetts and Ola N. Collins of New Hampshire, one of set of fraternal twins(the other was a girl who died at birth). He married Jen Lenwood May, the daughter of Herbert W. Hicks and Elizabeth E. Gallagher, in New Hampshire on February 8, 1952. He died on April 14, 2007 and is buried in Colton, California.
