Funeral for Iris Jane Chunn Brown, 84, of Valhermoso Springs will be Saturday, December 3, 2011, at 2 p.m. at Valhermoso First Christian Church with Pastor Mickey Johnson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. The body will be at the church one hour prior to the service.
Burial will be in Valhermoso Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Brown died Wednesday, November 30, 2011, at her residence. She was born June 17, 1927, in Morgan County to Escomb Chunn and Lillian Sanders Chunn. Her son, Roger Brown, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband, Boyd Brown; daughter-in-law, Jan Brown of Decatur; one grandson, Nathan Brown of Decatur; two brothers, four sisters.
