Philip was born in Stoneham Maine to Ervil and Catherine Curtis. Philip moved to Spokane in 1959. He leaves behind his wife Cynthia Curtis and seven children, Doreen England, Debbie Benfield, Douglas Curtis, Darlene Fry, Deanna Fry, Donna Quick, Philip Johnston, and six stepchildren: Audrey Daniel, Charles Webb, Justin Webb, Dawn Tedrow, Brandi Martin and Bobby Danielson. He has 27 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and a host of very close friends. Philip worked for Bi-State Construction for 30 years.
