Jack F. Allison, 84, of Belvidere died Friday, Dec. 2, 2011, in Maple Crest Care Center, after a long illness.
Born Jan. 24, 1927, in Springfield. Married M. Margaret Bridges on July 7, 1978, in Belvidere. Jack was employed as a supervisor for Cam-Car for 34 years before retiring. He served in World War II in the Navy as well as the Marines. Jack was a member of Faith Baptist Church, Belvidere.
Survived by wife, M. Margaret Allison of Belvidere; daughters, Francine (Jeff) Jafari of Rockford, Wyzetta Mros of Phoenix and Patricia Long of Montclair, Calif.; grandchildren, Regina Heuer, Manezhae Jafari, Enayat Jafari, Bezhan Jafari, Bretta Boyle and Ariona Boyle; great-grandchildren, Noah and Layla Heuer and Asarshan Jafari.
Predeceased by his parents.
Service at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6, in Buck-Wheeler-Hyland Funeral Home, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave., with the Rev. Wesley Hulstedt, pastor, officiating. Burial in Belvidere Cemetery.
