Shelley Anne Romero, a resident of Redondo Beach, passed away on Wednesday, February 23, 2011. She was born and raised in Torrance, CA. She is survived by her husband, Danny; daughters, Kirstyn and Amanda of Redondo Beach, CA; parents, Neil and Madaliene Haworth of Torrance, CA; brother, Scott (Jeanne) Haworth of Torrance, CA; sister, Susan (Gus) Jimenez of Redondo Beach, CA; brothers-in-law, Nick (Andrea) and Dino Romero of Redondo Beach, CA; nieces and nephews, Stefanie, Andrew, Taylor, Jake, Kevin, Connor, Nikko, Amy, Molly and Brooklyn. She was a niece, cousin and friend to everyone. Shelley was a graduate of West High School and worked for Skechers USA. She was the most giving person and will be greatly missed. She is now a beautiful angel. A gathering of friends and family will be held at Rice Mortuary in Torrance on Friday, March 4, 2011 from 5 to 9pm with a vigil beginning at 7pm. The service will be held at St. James Catholic Church in Redondo Beach on Saturday, March 5, 2011 at 12:30 p.m. The burial will follow at Pacific Crest Cemetery in Redondo Beach. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Lung Association, CA.
