Graveside services for Bernard H. Mask, 90 of Tyler, Texas, were held November 1, 2011 at Rose Hill Cemetery with Rev. Rick Tate officiating, under direction of Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Home.

Bernard went to be with his Lord and Savior on October 30, 2011.

He was born December 5, 1920 in Choice to the late Rev. D.O. and Zelda Mask.

He attended Texas A & M for two years before being called to serve in the U.S. Army for six long years. During WWII he was stationed in London where he met the love of his life, Joyce, who passed away in December of 2008. Upon returning from the service he received his Bachelor's Degree from Stephen F. Austin University. He has lived in Tyler since 1973, was retired from the U.S.D.A. Soil Conservation Service where he was a Soil Conservationist, and was a member of Fairwood United Methodist Church.

Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Carol Ann Farrell of Hamilton, OH and Linda Sue and Ronald Newland of Austin; one sister and brother-in-law, Loyce and Lewis Deloney of Center; and two grandchildren, Catherine Marie Farrell of Hamilton, OH and Michael James Farrell of Cincinnati, OH.
