He is survived by his son, Chuck Crum Jr., of Walker; his daughters, Madeline Arias, of Albuquerque, N.M., and Elizabeth Bello, of Huntsville, Texas. He was the proud grandfather of Valerie Thomas, Caitlin Arias and Frances Bello and two great-grandchildren, Aiden and Rory Thomas.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nora Katherine Crum.
He was a lifelong resident of the Baton Rouge area. He served in World War II in the U.S. National Guard. He retired from Allied Chemical South after 32 years. He was a member of the Denham Springs Seventh-day Adventist Church and has gone to his rest trusting only in the mercy of Christ his Savior. He will be sorely missed.
