Louis was born Louis Linnick in Roxbury, MA. to Joseph and Ida Lennick. He had 1 brother and 2 sisters (David, Sarah and Isabelle). Louis was in the Militia at an early age and also in WW I. He married Frances (Riseberg) on Oct. 27, 1920. They lived in Malden where he remaind. They had 3 children (Charlotte, Isabelle and Jerry). Louis worked for General Electric for over 30 years. After his retirement from the GE, he was very active in the city for many organizations including, Malden Elderly Program, Massachusetts Democratic Party and many Jewish groups, also including many volunteer jobs. He was a member of the JWV, DAV, VFW, and the Lions. He was also a Mason and past grand master. He was always involved with his synagogue. He and his family where in many musical shows, he loved to sing. Louis was friends with many well know people, like Michael Dukakis, whom he was with the night Mike decided to run for President. Louis was very lucky to find and marry again to Esther (Bowdridge) and spent many happy times with her. He always loved to be with his family. His family also included 6 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, 2 step children and great-grandchildren. He also had a few great-great grandchildren.
