Barbara Lou Branson, a resident of Trinity Hills Community in Knoxville, born February 16, 1931 to parents, Kenneth and Joella Branscom died August 4, 2011. Barbara was a devout Christian, having accepted her Savior Jesus Christ at age 9. She was a member of Washington Pike United Methodist Church for over 50 years. Preceded in death by her parents and beloved son, Kenny. She is survived by her husband, John Branson; daughters Patti Bounds and Karen Corum; sister, Pat Lowry; five grandchildren, Johnna Bullard, Stephanie Enger, Melanie Unthank, Jordan Bounds and Joseph Bounds; and seven great grandchildren. The family wishes to express appreciation to the staff at Trinity Hills for their love and support. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 7 pm in the Fountain City Chapel of Mynatt Funeral Home with Chaplain David Collins officiating. Family and friends will meet Sunday at 2:45 pm at Greenwood Cemetery for interment at 3 pm.
