Mrs. Lee Williiam Johnson, 59, died Aug. 25 at Swedish Hospital in Littleton, Colo., where she was taken four weeks earlier.
She was the former Fern Headrick, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Headrick, and was born at Benkelman, Neb., Nov. 29, 1917. She was married in McDonald December 21, 1936.
The Johnsons moved to Littleton in 1959 and Mrs. Johnson engaged in her hobbies, arts and crafts, crocheting and bead works.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Headrick, and two sisters, Viola Nellie and Edith Howard.
She leaves her husband, who works for Mershon-Gimeno Construction; two daughters, Roberta White of Rapid City and Marilyn Birkby of Denver; a son, John William Johnson of Littleton; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Mrs. Johnson was the sister of John Fay Headrick of Imperial, Neb.; Madge Knapp of McDonald; Leone Smith of Denver; Myrna Schnee of Atwood; Keith Headrick of Thornton; Donna Dupuis of New Orleans, La.
The Rev M. L. Carlton, Baptist minister, held services Aug. 29 at Drinkwine Chapel and burial was in the Littleton Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Rodney Smith, Merrill Headrick of Lakewood, Duane Knapp of McDonald, Dean Knapp of Bird City, Dennis Howard of McDonald, and Philip Plumb of Englewood.
