CHURCH POINT - Funeral services were set to be held at 2 m. Tuesday at the First Methodist Church here for Mrs. Hiram Chachere, 65, the former Ida Maher, who died at 3: 10 a.m. Monday, at the Acadia St. Landry Hospital, after an illness of four months.
Burial was in a Eunice Cemetery under the direction of Guidry's Funeral Home.
Survivors include her widower, Hiram Chachere; three daughters, Mrs. Dean Jackson of Bryan, Tex., Mrs. Ernest Pivonka of Bryan, Tex. ; Mrs. Mert McLeod of New Iberia; one brother, Horace Maher of Opelousas; three sisters, Mrs. C.J. Saloom of Eunice, Mrs. Eva Bellard of Eunice and Mrs. Clothilde Olivier, all of Church Point; and eight grandchildren.
