Mrs Ocie Iona Valentine Wade, 85, an early pioneer of the Wynooche Valey, died early Friday morning in an Aberdeen nursing home. Born in Kansas, she came west with her parents in a covered wagon from Unionville, Missouri. In 1902, she married Walter Wade, who died in 1942. They lived in the Wynooche Valley and Westport. Surviving are a daughter and two sons in Westport, nine grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
