William James Annand of Lodi passed away on March 1, 2012 at the age of 84. Bill was born on August 24, 1927 in Hotchkiss, Colorado to James and Edith Annand. At the time of his death, Bill was employed by Jacobs, Malcolm and Burtt (JMB) Packing Company in Lodi. He spent his early working years as a lamb and cattle buyer for Swift & Company and James Allen and Sons. He was an avid all-around sports fan, devoted to cheering on his San Francisco 49ers and San Francisco Giants, but his #1 passion was golf. He was a longtime member of Elkhorn Country Club in Stockton. He also mastered computer games and penny slot machines in the past several years. Bill is survived by his daughters, Cynthia Annand of Mokelumne Hill and Shelley Lewis (Tim Maxfield) of Lodi, his step daughters, Sheryl Rodda (Evan) of Valley Springs, Patricia Beard (Steve) of Rockford, Illinois and Linda Fuller (Michael) of Brentwood California, and his step son, Steve Stoore (Lynn) of Castro Valley, California, 9 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, a loving extended family, and his devoted friends and coworkers at JMB, including his longtime friends Tom Tewksbury and Vicki Kroll. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Delores, his parents and his sister Janet. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 8th at 1:00 at Lodi Funeral Home, 725 S. Fairmont Avenue, Lodi
