Mrs. Lula L. Barr, 87 of 850-1/2 Richie, Avenue died at 2:15 a.m. Thursday in St. Rita's Hospital after a long illness. She had been in the hospital five weeks. Born September 23, 1863 in Rochester, N.Y., Mrs. Barr had lived in Lima 40 years. For the last five years she had been in falling health. Surviving are a son, Theodore L. Silver, Los Angeles, Calif.; and three grandchildren, Merritt and Emerson Baling, Rochester, and Burton Silver, Los Angeles. The body will remain in the Lewis funeral home for services, in the Memorial chapel at 8:30 p.m. Friday. The Rev. Frank Hamblin will officiate. Burial will be Saturday morning in Toledo.
