Funeral services for Ben Roberts, 79, of Huntington, were scheduled for 3 pm Wednesday in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Stanley Lohse and Dr. Arthur DeLoach officiating and interment in Huntington Cemetery.
Mr. Roberts died Tuesday afternoon in a local hospital after a long illness. He was born March 23, 1884 in Georgia, and had resided in Angelina County for 38 years. He was a member of the Huntington First Baptist Church.
