Magdalene was born on July 20, 1885 in Russia to Christian and Magdalena (Schnabel) Herrmann.

She married Daniel Zeitner Jr. on January 19, 1905 at Boyd County, Nebraska. Together they had seven children.

Magdalene is survived by her husband, Daniel Jr; three daughters, Freda (William) Roether, Pauline (Harvey) Davis and Vera (John) Schonebaum; four sons, Edwin (Regina) Zeitner, Arthur (Helen) Zeitner, Herman (Alberta) Zeitner and Leonard (Hope) Zeitner. She is also survived by her parents, Christian and Magdalena Herrmann.
