Robert J. Altoft, 66, died May 30, 1987 in Batavia Veterans Hospital. He was employed for 45 years at Morton Salt Company as an electrician. He served during WW II with the US Army in the Asian-Pacific theater working as an electrican. Survivors are his wife, Elcy Luce Altoft; three daughters, Judy Thewke, Gloria Lafferty, Mary Jane Halstead; two sons, James H and William J; a sister, Loralyn Yunka; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren
