FULTON: William A. Abernathy, 37, died Tuesday, October 03, 2000, at the Red Bay Hospital. He was born Sept. 26, 1963, in Red Bay, Ala., to Olen Glenn and Darsee Ewing Abernathy. He attended Maple Springs Church of God.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Red Bay Holy Church of Christ with Bro Larry Johnson and Bro Wayne Bumgart officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Gilead Cemetery. Senter Funeral Home of Fulton is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include three aunts, his caregiver Mildred Ewing of Fulton, and Thelma Johnson and Earlessie Ewing, both of Golden; two sisters, Janett Brown of Golden and Beck Johnson of Fulton.

His parents preceded him in death.

Pallbearers will be Ricky Ewing, Troy Kelton, Raymond Brown, Jerry Dale Ewing, Matthew Brown and Timothy Brown.

Honorary pallbearers will be John Morrow, Randle Holland, Emzell Ewing, Junior Cromeans, Tony Johnson Jr. and Jessie Johnson.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. today at Red Bay Holy Church of Christ.
